Community support to help our little world turn!

Beyond building a transformational gathering space and Mushroom Temple, Rootstock is also building a culture of care and a conscious community.

We come together every month for community circles, every season to honor the turning of the seasons, and every year to tend the 100 hour Transformation Fire in service of remembering our way forward into a future we want to inhabit. We all know that ‘teamwork makes the dream work’ and that the work of being together with other imperfect and complex humans is some of the most important stuff we can do right now as a species. Re-learning how to cook, eat, pray, play, tend, heal, share resources, and grow as a community is the task at hand and we practice every month and you’re invited.

Beana loves to share her miraculous home with her beloved community and, in order to stay generous and open, much tending and care is needed to help sustain that generosity. Keeping everybody warm and clean and held takes everything and the more community members understand that and care to learn how the systems and infrastructure at Rootstock work, the more likely we’ll be able to enjoy gathering here for many seasons and years to come. “The Work” of building and holding this place is where most of the magic dwells and Beana would like to share the holy work of house holding with others that want to serve.

Where the blankets go, how the compost works, how to open and close the bathhouse, or how to restore Beana’s kitchen to how she likes it is the task at hand. From making kindling to turning off the lights at night, there are many things that are required to take good care, not waste resources, and it’s time to empower those of you that want to help to do so.

The more we work together, the better dialed our systems will become, and the easier it will be to utilize and animate all of the amazing resources we have been building for our collective joy, health and well-being.
