Supporting the Work of Medicine

Additional sessions for your retreat and integration

The work of medicine extends beyond the medicine itself. It lives in the body, in the emotions, in the stories we carry, and in the ways we begin to meet ourselves and our lives differently.

During your time at Rootstock, we offer opportunities for additional one-on-one support with members of our retreat team. Through bodywork, sound, breath, and embodied awareness, these sessions provide another way to tend to what is unfolding, both during the retreat and in the process of integration.

Session availability varies depending on which practitioners are supporting your retreat. Your retreat emails will include information about the sessions available during your stay, along with details on how to book.

Polarity Therapy with Melissa Neville

“True health is the result of the soul finding free expression through the mind and body of the individual “ - Dr. Randolph Stone, founder of Polarity Therapy

Polarity therapy is an energetically based bodywork which listens to and follows the intelligence of the body to support greater balance, ease and health. It is deeply supportive of nervous system regulation , natural flow of life force, processing and releasing of emotion, and grounding into the body. Presence.

Hands on work takes places fully clothed on a massage table. Space is held and supported for deep rest, listening, sensing and self reflection.

Sound Medicine with Gideon Crevoshay

Exploring what lives beyond words.

Not everything we encounter in medicine work can be easily understood or expressed through language. Sound offers another way to listen, explore, and connect with our experience.

Drawing on voice, breath, vibration, and deep listening, Gideon's work invites a different kind of attention to what is moving within us. These sessions offer space for expression, embodied awareness, and curiosity about what may be emerging through the medicine experience.

Rather than arriving with something to accomplish, the invitation is to meet yourself where you are and explore what sound might make possible.
